A few weeks ago I posted about my favorite winter essentials and I wanted to expand on one of those pieces, the flannel shirt! I love a good flannel shirt. Sometimes I forget how versatile they are!

ONE / Layer it.
Flannels are usually a little thicker and are great for layering under and over tops. They look especially great under denim and leather jackets and over tees.

TWO / Wrap around the waist.
It’s kind of a 90’s look but it’s in! I recently tried this look over a maxi dress and I really liked it! It was especially nice when I got a little chilly on my walk and I could throw the shirt on. This is also a great look going into spring.

THREE / Button and tuck.
This classic way of wearing a flannel top never fails. Tucking the shirt in helps define the waist and gives the look a little femininity.
