Last year I remember briefly looking around for a simple Baby’s First Christmas Ornament and not having a lot of success. This year I thought it would be fun to create one ourselves! Both Sarah who works with me here and myself have baby nieces that were born this past year so we made a couple for them. Making your own means you get ot use their names too instead of just a generic phrase. They were so simple, here’s how to do it…
Supplies: Polymer clay, rolling pin, knife, pointy stick, paper star cut out, ruler, stamps, ribbon
Step 1: Roll out polymer clay until about 1/8 inch thick
Step 2: Cut out a rectangle using your knife and ruler
Step 3: Cut out a star using your paper template (we just drew a slightly imperfect star on paper and cut it out)
Step 4: Using small stamps, stamp out your baby’s first christmas or use their name like we did. Add a hole with the pointed stick and bake to harden according to package instructions.

Love this idea so much! I would’ve loved to have made this for my cousin Thomas.
Love this!! Where did you buy these little stamps?
