This has been a good week. My friend Mardi was in town and it was a great excuse to get out and do stuff outside (i.e. skiing, snowshoeing), even with a wee lad in tow. The storminess has been replaced by sunny days and Hank has been giving us lots of smiles and less cries.

This weekend jam is perhaps my favorite song right now, maybe ever, although of course I can’t commit to that. Jared likes it a lot too which means when I play in in the car we can turn it up really loud and sing along. It’s by Pinback and it’s called “Fortress”. I like the part in the video where the pencil drawn warriors do the synchronized dance on the battlefield ( I imagine it being the soulja boy dance of course). Have a great weekend!
