hola! it’s jillian from cornflake dreams and i am beyond excited to be guest posting today! as an introduction, i thought it might be a good idea to let you know what has been on my mind lately. this has been a really big year for me! i got engaged in march, we traveled to spain in september, i started a new job at the beginning of the month and last weekend we moved into our new condo! so many good things and so many things to do. sometimes i feel like a crazy cakes person running around with color-coded lists but i am excited about the future and where life has been taking me lately. i am also beyond grateful to have my blog as a creative outlet. i am inspired every day by other blogs and i love resources like pinterest— it makes organizing easy peasy. here are a few things that are on my to do list::
wedding planning: i have the dress taken care of now i need to find the perfect shoes…invitations, flowers, decorations, cake…
decorate: create my version of the all mighty gallery wall.
bake: i had a cookie exchange last year and i want to continue the tradition this year (and maybe combine the event with our house-warming party). im dying to try these recipes:
[peanut butter rice krispe treats, carrot and zucchini bars w lemon cream cheese frosting, swiss chard, goat cheese and prosciutto tart]

I'm totally scared of my to-do list! even though 80% of it is fun stuff, the fact that the list is probably long enough to wrap my house 5x… no bueno!Great post Jillian dahhhhling! <3 those little bars have been making me drool forever! HAVE to make them! carrot cake is my obsession =)
