Around this time of year I start getting really serious about my homemade ice cream/sorbet consumption. I wonder if this green apple sorbet tastes as good as it looks?

Green Apple Sorbet
I took some girlfriends to a dessert degustation menu last night (4 full-size desserts – total indulgence!)Dessert #3 was Pedro Ximénez ice cream sandwiched between two tuiles with a scoop of granny smith sorbet (and a granny smith foam on the side too). The sorbet was the best bit!
thank you so much for posting this – i recently had green apple sorbet at a local Italian place near us – it was so refreshing and delicious. We are in Wiinter here but pretty much eat ice cream and sorbet year round so will add this to the must do list now!
Yes! Lavender honey, strawberry rose… I love those exotic floral flavors.

I LOVE home made ice cream!! We would make ice cream all the time growing up. My favorites are fresh strawberry ice cream & lemon custard ice cream. Just this last weekend, I experimented & made a molasses cookie ice cream & it turned out DELISH. Not too terribly sweet, not too savory.

i was just given an ice cream maker, and i've become addicted! last week alone i made coffee, strawberry, blueberry, lemon verbena, and cherry with cocoa nibs! thoughts of this green apple sorbet makes my mouth water (in such a sour patch kids kinda way!)
