Our 30s

Sorry for the radio silence! A good friend of mine, Devon, is visiting from Kenya. She’s been there for three years doing refugee work (amazing, right?). It’s interesting, I’m 31 now and I’ve loved watching my friends and I leaving our transient, identity forming 20s and entering our rewarding 30s. Embracing all the things we’re passionate about and all the things  we’ve been working hard towards the last decade. I’m so proud of us! Does that sound cheesy? I mean it! High fives all around, friends!

Anyway, we’ve been exploring the city and having some really interesting discussions, to say the least, about world affairs, what she misses about America, and camel triathlons (a 5k is way too long to be riding on a camel’s back, apparently).
