On a cool foggy day last week Henry and I headed out with Edie to Stow Lake after camp. It’s a perfect afternoon excursion and just a 10 minute walk from our house. There’s so much to do there- waterfall hikes, renting boats, riding bikes around the lake, and feeding the ducks. In the mornings my workout group heads up to the very stop, Strawberry Hill, for a gorgeous view of the whole city. Sometimes I struggle to find activities that both Henry and Edie will like, and this outing knocked it out of the park for both of them.

We headed over with the Ergobaby Four Position 360, a new carrier with Ergobaby that boasts four different positions to carry baby around in. It sold out so quickly when it came out last month but is now back in stock! It’s a pack I love and use multiple times a week.

Henry announced he was hungry as soon as we showed up so we checked out the snack stand. Nachos, chips, french fries, fresh lemonade, cookies, hot dog…decisions decisions. He went for the hot dog, I went for the lemonade. While we waited I showed him some pull up exercises we do in my morning workout group. He preferred to run sprints down the ramp though. He’s always been so speedy! What a cutie.

They’ve recently renovated the boat house. It’s so nice with a new lovely seating area inside. And the bright red and turquoise colors! Just gorgeous. So happy to see historic buildings like this get a nice facelift.

kaleyann_21After a proper afternoon snack we headed down the ramp and out to the dock on the lake to find ourselves some hungry ducks to feed the corn tortillas we had packed from home. I flipped Edie around so she could watch the ducks, and as I predicted she was super entertained (although maybe more entertained with Henry than anything else!).

Oh man, I love these two. Edie just laughs her head off at everything Henry does. It’s so sweet.

I always have to remind Henry to break off very small pieces so they birds don’t choke (and so the bag of tortillas lasts longer than 2 minutes).  As always, the seagulls started to get pretty aggressive. They even got into a big squabble, which Henry loved of course. We also saw turtles and some really beautiful ducks. Such a great place for kids of all ages.kaleyann_18

And let’s finish it off with these two cute kids:

Oh what cute kids and that spot look beautiful. I didn’t know you could flip them around like that in the Ergo. That’s one reason why I’ve never bought one, I guess this new one is deferent?

Yes! The new ergo 360 is four position. It’s the first ergo carrier that you can flip the baby facing out which is fantastic!
