Kicking off our BlogNog this week we have talented Kirsten from 6th Street Design School sharing with us these super easy neighborhood gifts. Welcome, Kirsten!
I had no idea what I was going to give to my friends and neighbors this year and it was really stressing me out! When I saw these beautiful mercury glass holders at Michaels I knew they could be perfect holders for a yummy holiday treat.
I thought about making my own peppermint bark but I decided to just buy it in bulk from Costco since making it would take me all day and there was no guarantee it would taste good.
I put the bark in some cellophane that I also purchased at Michaels. I purchased three sets of different Holiday Tags from this etsy shop. They were a great deal!
Then I added some red grosgrain ribbon and a small ornament to each one. Now they are all ready to be handed out to my loved ones. This idea would work well inside anything; a little jar, a bucket, a pretty wooden box, or a pretty gift bag. I’ll take peppermint bark in whatever form it comes in!
That's on my to-do list but I too am scared to try! Maybe I should make a trip to Costco…thanks for the idea!
I love peppermint bark! Such a cute idea 🙂
So funny . . .I always make peppermint bark, but when I saw it at costco this year I did a little jig. One less thing to make!!!
