BlogNog: Holiday Packaging Tips

I’m excited to have Kelly from one of my very favorite shops, High Street Market, sharing with us festive holiday packaging tips. Welcome, Kelly!

Hi guys!  It’s Kelly from High Street Market.  When Liz asked me to come up with a Holiday Tip for her fabulous Blognog series, I was completely flattered and really excited.  But, then I had to think, “Compared to these other creative bloggers, what can I possibly contribute?”  And then it hit me: I KNOW wrapping.  Like, really know wrapping.  Not in the way of presents-under-the-tree wrapping, but more along the lines of packing and shipping.  Over the last few years, I have shipped thousands of packages for my shop, High Street Market.  And today, I’m going to share some basic packaging tips with you, and then I’ll show you how to make that plain brown box just a little more festive!

So, with about $3 worth of duck tape and a large festive label, you can turn a boring box into a giant present!
I designed the “Merry Christmas” packing label above, and I also created a snowy “Happy Holidays” version!  If you would like to download and print them out at home, click Here for the Merry Christmas label and Here for the Happy Holidays label!  They’re already formatted for these 8.5″ x 5.5″ Avery labels.  So, you just need to hit print!
Happy Thanksgiving!

This is one of those things where presentation can make such a difference but most people don't think of it. Love the red duct tape!
