Thinking of all you in the Midwest, East, and South boarded up in your homes against mother nature this week. I thought I’d share few favorite ideas from the archives here to keep the little ones entertained while you wait out the arctic chill. I also shared a few kid craft ideas for snowy days on babble as well. Stay warm, friends!

First words book: A really special project to work on for a child or with an older child for a younger one
Two fun + messy art projects :Great for antsy kids stuck indoors all day
Salad spinner spin art: This is still one of Henry’s favorite things to do!
Cool whip marshmallows: What kid wouldn’t want to make their own custom shaped marshmallows for hot cocoa?
