Tonight we decorated our tree. It’s 9 feet tall and we decided since we’re pretty much starting from scratch with decorations (we’ve never had a decent size tree before –this is a picture of our little apartment tree from last year) that we would go monochromatic with green and a hint of gold. It was Jared’s vision of course (I think fancy trees are a Stanley thing). I just did the shopping. I think it’s so festive. Now all we need is some homemade paper mache pears. My entire family will be coming out to celebrate Christmas at our house this year. It’s so nice having the house ready for the season.
