It rained here in the Outer Banks of North Carolina earlier this week and then the last two days have been absolutely perfect weather. We’re soaking it up today because tomorrow evening we leave. So sad to leave this little slice of heaven. I’m taking a break from the beach and pool right now but we’ll head out soon again and then we’ve got bbqing, a flag cake, marionette show and watermelon eating contest at the pier, water balloons from the decks, and tug of war over the pool on the agenda tonight before the fireworks. We’re told our porch has a great view so we’re planning on just staying here to watch them the fireworks, which is perfect for the little kids.
