Stripey Spring Bag + Weekend Roundup

I’ve organized most of my work space in the sunroom and was excited to do a little sewing project last night. Following this really easy tutorial I made this stripey spring bag from some ikea fabric I had. It’s so bright and cheery, and it only took a little over an hour. Do you have any fun projects going on this weekend? Here are some links to inspire you:

Colorful chevron chinese lanterns would be pretty for a party

Jordan posted The Girls with Glasses video and now I can’t stop watching it. Doesn’t it look like it was a blast to make?

A nice birthday tradition

For all you expecting moms out there, here’s a nice roundup of maternity sewing tutorials.

I’ve gotten a few emails lately about men’s fashion and then read this great post here with some good ideas.

I keep coming back to these fun bedside tables from PB teen. What do you think?

Maybe you should listen to your kids’ crazy ideas more. Great TED talk on what we can learn from them.
