I read a tip on Hither and Thither from the owners of General Store that I’m keeping in my back pocket for vintage jean shopping…
“If you hold the waistband around your neck and it touches in the back just so that the ends meet, the pair will probably be a good fit and it’s worth taking the time to try them on.” Lots more tips in Ashley’s piece on Vintage jeans here including finding the most flattering fit, etc. I’m a huge fan of vintage Levi’s, which I talk about on our favorite jean post here. I own several pairs. Do you wear vintage jeans as well?

A cousin told me this years ago, and it is a totally legit tip! I use it now more than ever now that I shop with a toddler, LOL.
This is a fact! My grandmother taught my mom this decades ago, and it rings true! I’ve never seen this anywhere else!
Thanks for the links! Sounds like a good tip! ❤️✨
