Up to anything fun this weekend? Henry is performing in a local Willy Wonka play as Grandpa Jo (I think I’m more nervous than he is for his solo), and my mother is in town to see it too. Hoping to march as well on Saturday. Jared is also coming today from his ski trip, hooray! Excited to be reunited again. Have a great one, here are some links to explore (and if you’re on the East Coast, stay warm!!):
Some Favorite Things This Week
I’m still in shock Easter is a week away (and on April Fool’s Day?!). Here are our Easter traditions I wrote about last year
This year though, thinking of some Easter bunny April Fools tricks like this one
I’d heard of this shop, Barnaby Jack, before but loving their vibe and the prices are great. This white romper is so cute
Did you know Alexa can read books to your kids through your Audible account? My friend says it’s been a game changer
Speaking of books, this one is so sweet and beautiful
Love these linen jumpers for spring (and you can’t beat the ease of a one piece outfit)
Clever coloring postcards for spring or summer break
Day in the life of a line cook at one of NYC’s fanciest restaurants. A Refreshingly honest perspective
I’ve heard amazing things about this poetry book
Bookmarked for an easy weeknight meal
This gingham swimsuit coverup is very cute (and 40% off). Also from the J.Crew sale: this bomber jacket, a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, these chambray wide-leg pants
Love the idea of this yoga wake up app my friend uses. The best way to start a day. Now I just need to get myself up before the kids…
If you’re an Amazon Prime member, this samples program is pretty rad (travel sized products for trips!)
Happy to see CoverGirl embracing this kind of diversity
Loving Everlane’s new underwear line (got to see a sneak peek in the mail this week!)
A great list of classic French dishes I want to try
Lastly, an all-woman podcast playlist from a designer
I’m really happy that more and more media outlets are embracing diversity and different body types, too. It’s such a positive change. 🙂
