Live in a tiny space? You can still totally host that holiday party you’ve been thinking about. Today we’re working with Home Depot’s new line of furniture and decor to share some tips for small space holiday entertaining. Turns out all you need is a little creative re-purposing and the right pieces…
Have you checked out The Home Depot’s new decor line? I’ve had the chance to work with them the past year and have been so impressed with their offerings. You might remember, we Styled One Modern Chair Three Ways in our Say Yes team member’s home, and also decorated our entire new Say Yes studio in Home Depot decor and furniture pieces! Modern design, good quality, affordable, and all from a brand we love and trust. I’ve been really happy with them.
Today, I picked out a few pieces for your holiday entertaining in a small space. Bright, modern, and super functional for hosting.
Small Piece Entertaining Pieces
So, you’re set with the pieces, and now here are five creative ways to use your small space efficiently for holiday entertaining:
Clear off buffets and surfaces to use very possible inch of space for food, drink, and decor. Grab a cardboard box and clear off the surfaces to make room for your party goods. Drinks can go on the mantle, desserts on coffee tables, trimmings on the heaters, and appetizers on the entry table (image)
Lots of white. White helps a small space crowded with people feel less cluttered, and it’s also easier to holiday decorate on a clean canvas. Clear acrylic is even better- see the set of Home Depot nesting tables in the slideshow above (image)
Simple and elegant decor. It might be temping to throw every holiday decor piece you own out for a party, but remember less is more in small space entertaining. Pick a couple simple and elegant things and let the food and drinks do most of the heavy lifting for decor (image)
