As you can see, we’ve made some huge changes around here. Here’s a little tour of the brand new, shiny Say Yes…
A new logo and tagline. I really wanted something clean and fresh with a tagline to more accurately describe the content we produce here. After working with a branding expert, we decided on: practical.meaningful.beautiful which I really love and resonates with all the content we try to produce here at Say Yes.
A New Tutorial Design.ย You know how sometimes you see a project but don’t want plan on making it right that second? We decided to move all the steps into a carousel so you can keep scrolling through the post without having to wade through all the directions for a tutorial. We also use this same design for fashion posts and links. Here’s how it looks:
New About page. Find out more about the rebranding exercise we’ve done, and what makes Say Yes stand out. Also, introductions to everyone on the Say Yes team!
Partnerships page. Be sure to check out the new Partnerships page at the footer with lots of readership information, and over 30 examples of sponsored posts in a carousel at the bottom.
Huge thanks. I’m amazed at how many people were involved to make this happen;ย a branding expert, logo designer, site designer, development team, and many others. It was not a small undertaking.
Also thanks to my own Say Yes team for stopping everything and making this happen. It’s been a long time coming, and I hope you enjoy the new Say Yes!
LOVE THIS, Liz! A beautiful refresh.
Well done.
Beautiful remodeling of the blog!
Can I ask you something? Since I read many blogs, I “sneak” on them from a rss reader (I use Digg). I’d like to read the complete post there as before…now I only see the first couple lines ๐
Do you think it’s possible for you to show the complete feed? I’d love to keep following your posts and I know I wouldn’t do it with these new settings.
I know most bloggers that show the partial feed, do it to make people want to visit the actual website, but I know I wouldn’t.
I’d be very happy to see again the complete blog post from the reader app.
Thanks for understanding!
Lovely! New hair, new site…loving all the fresh looks. ๐
Yay Liz!! Looks SO GOOD and fresh. XO
I really like how advertising is not blinking at me,on the left hand side of the page. Iโve had to stop reading some blogs because they are too distracting. I understand the need for payed sponsorships and I donโt mind reading about them in an actual post. All of your hard work on rebranding really shows. Nice work!
I love the new design – it looks super chic and the layout of the post is super readable! ๐
