• Trench Tip for Fall

    trench tip

End-of-summer early-fall weather is always tricky. So here is the ‘it’ tip to survive the ever-changing weather straight from Madewell’s newest lookbook

Roll up the sleeves of your trench coat to show off the sleeves of your dress, top, sweater or shirt, creating contrast between the textures and prints. This way you will keep warm while still looking chic. So easy but so effective! Some more inspiration looks:

The satin lining on this jacket gives this rolled up look an extra dressed up look.

Take your look up a notch with a velvet trench! I also love the subtle pop you get from the rolled sleeve color.

Leave your sleeves down on your shirt underneath to keep warm AND stylish.

A rolled up button up top under a trench is my favorite way to wear this look.

You can even sport this trend while wearing a dress. Throw on some tennis shoes for a sporty vibe.

Some favorite trench’s from around the web: long trench, a pleated trench, duster trench, classic trench, flowing trench.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good trench for the fall for YEARS now. This year will be my year!

I think the rolled-up button up under a trench coat is a nice touch. Will be doing that this fall!
