How to wear white wide leg pants this summer

My younger sister, Becca, lives in Brooklyn and has such a great sense of style (and amazing luck at thrift stores!). She sent me a picture of her wearing these white wide leg pants the other week that were so perfect for summer. I asked her to take a few photos of her favorite ways to wear them to share with us today…

#1: Indoor lounging look
“Summers in New York can get pretty hot and muggy. I like to stay inside and read on the hottest days in light colored linen clothing. During the summer, the all-white look really works with these wide-legged pants. Also these Hasbeens clogs are my favorite go-to summer shoes.”.

Shoes: Vintage Swedish Hasbeens clogs, thrifted (like these)
#2: Urban look
When I’m headed out in the summer, I usually try to mix up my light outfit with a light jacket. The kimono jacket paired with this beautiful leather bag instantly dresses up any outfit and makes me feel chic even when my hair’s messy. An all-white outfit with the black kimono jacket has been my go-to look lately.”

#3: Casual summer look
“The last thing I want to do on a hot day is think about throwing together a complicated outfit. I like to wear these white wide-legged pants paired with a band tee or a vintage tee for a no-brainer outfit. I’ve been digging the blue denim wash of this jean jacket, too . It offsets the all-white look.”
