In addition to our own mothers, I love the idea of celebrating mom friends on Mother’s Day. Last year Ashley made these cute potted plants to give to her friends on Mother’s Day, and we’re recreating mini versions today. They’d go perfectly with our mom cards you can download. Here’s how to make them…

Supplies: 

Brown paper bag scraps
Scallop pattern (see details in step 1)
Scissors
Tape
Chalk marker

Step 1: Cut out a scalloped pattern that’s slightly higher than your potted flowers and slightly longer than the diameter.

Step 2: Trace the outline with a chalkboard marker and write your Mother’s Day phrase. Here are some ideas from our cards last year.

Step 3: Tape around your potted flowers and gift to any inspiring mothers in your life.
