One of my dearest friends, Mardi, is here visiting for Thanksgiving from Boston. She was my first best friend. We lived next door to each other when we were kids growing up in New York and have so many crazy childhood memories together. Between Oakland food tours and baking for Thanksgiving, I’ve somehow convinced her to share a few outfits to wear for Thanksgiving. Here are three comfy and stylish looks…
The Casual Family-Friendly Thanksgiving: For kids and busy hands in the kitchen we need something to move around in that’s comfortable, but still chic (and bonus: nursing friendly!). Linen top by Me & Arrow, velvet high waisted pants by Madewell, Black boots by Report (old season), necklaces from Urban Outfitters.
A fancy pants cloth napkin, imported cheeses and wine Thanksgiving: Bring on the imported cheeses, wines, and fancy platters with decor that’s just as pretty as the food. A good opportunity to dress up in something fancy but still comfortable. Spotted dress and sweater jacket from Madewell. Suede heels from Urban Outfitters.
Have an amazing Thanksgiving!
I LOVE her style!
