Fridays are my days off. It means I end up working more in the evenings, but I love having a weekday to spend time with my girls while Henry’s in school. I try to make the most of it by taking a new adventure every week as we’re still getting to know our neighborhood. Here are a few pictures of our outing to Piedmont Park in partnership with with Bugaboo and their new Cameleon3 Elements stroller…
Bugaboo is known for their quality, beautiful strollers and the limited edition Bugaboo Cameleon3 Elements is no exception. This limited edition stroller draws inspiration from nature with an overall color that is river-stone shade mélange and a striking unique gradient color effect on the bassinet. I’ve never had a bassinet style stroller before, and I love what a comfy little bed it makes for a new baby! It’s always been frustrating to me that most strollers aren’t safe for babies until at least age 3 months., but this one is great from day one. Everything from the herringbone fabric to the function and super smooth ride (even on this cobblestone path) was really impressive. It’s an investment, but if you’re planning on using it for a couple kids I’d say it’s well worth it!
You can take off the pram and attach a separate seat for an older baby who wants to sit up and look around more (see above). The seat can sit up straight, recline, or lie flat for napping, and can face the front or back. So versatile. You don’t need another stroller as your child gets older. This one can be used up to age 3.
We took a little adventure to a gorgeous park just down the street called Piedmont Park. It has winding paths, redwood trees, a play structure, and a beautiful lawn for a picnic.
With two little girls, a picnic lunch is perfect because it doesn’t mess up the kitchen (which is probably already still dirty from breakfast, let’s be honest). We love to take a little fruit, bread, and cheese. I just try to grab whatever is in the fridge or leftover from the day before and we make it work!
The stroller has a huge basket underneath that fits our picnic basket, food, and blanket with room to spare.
Edie’s at an age where she’s got a love/hate with her new little sister, Dot. She tells her every day, “I love you so much, Dot!”, helps to change her diaper and collect toys for her to chew on. At the same time, she can be found stepping on, poking, prodding, and stealing binkies when I’m turned around engaged in another task. Lately, Edie’s been telling me she’s a ‘bad guy’ and likes to fight. She’s trouble!
Isn’t the teal fabric beautiful inside? The quality is really stunning. What a sweet ride for a new baby!
The Bugaboo Cameleon3 Elements folds up easily so we can throw it in the car for another adventure next Friday.
