So last year I heard about this drink called buttered apple cider and I’ve been so curious about it ever since. We decided to make our own version today and turns out it’s the most delicious fall drink I’ve ever had. Oooooh man. The creamiest, most amazing cider and it only takes 5 minutes to make. Today I’m sharing the easy buttered cider recipe in partnership with Comfort Cup® by Chinet®, great for early morning commutes and chilly fall picnic gatherings.
Buttered Apple Cider (adapted from Bon Appetit)
In a saucepan mix 6 T butter and 7 T of brown sugar until sugar dissolves.
Mix in 3/4 cup lemon juice, 12 cinnamon sticks, handful of cloves, and 1 1/2 gallons of apple cider (we used some from Trader Joes).
Bring to a boil and serve warm.
Ladle into Chinet Comfort Cups.

Looks yummy. Never had butter in a hot drink. But butter makes most things better. : )
Yum! There is nothing better than homemade apple cider! This looks like fall perfection!
