• DIY Easy Summer Straw Necklace

Another fun straw necklace project today! I think I’m on to something here. This time we’re cutting up some pretty pastel straws to make a summer necklace. A great busy activity to do with kids during the summer. Then, layer them on in the evening for a summer party.

I found these pretty pastel straws at this etsy shop but Ashley texted me later and said she has virtually the same color combination of straws she found at IKEA so woo hoo for IKEA!

Cut the straws into different lengths at random.

Add a piece of tape to one side of the string to make it easier to string along (photo of adding the tape from the post yesterday)

Continue until you’ve reached the desired length and knot off. Easy!

This is such a fun necklace idea! I might try it with a pendant as well.
