My husband’s Christmas Eve. tradition consists of an elaborate array of appetizers and finger foods, all night we play games, read stories and eat the night away. I’m always looking for a new spread or dip to add to the table and this pomegranate salsa will bring a bright punch to Christmas Eve.

Pomegranate Salsa
1 cup pomegranate seeds
3/4 cup fresh cranberries (chopped)
2 green onions (finely diced)
2 tbsp. cilantro, minced
1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Dash of ground ginger powder
Brick of cream cheese
Crackers for serving
Combine all ingredients and mix together. Spoon on top of a brick of cream cheese and serve with crackers.
