4 Ways to Style a Spring Tee

styletee

With spring here, it’s time to pack up the jackets and break out the spring tees! The ‘jeans and tee’ routine is one we’re all familiar with so I thought I’d mix things up a bit by showing 4 different ways to style those tee shirts you’re pulling out of storage right now.

Look #1: Layered with a chambray shirt and colored jeans

As much as we want warm weather to be here to stay, sometimes mother nature has its own plans and we’re looking to layer our tee for warmth. Choose a lightweight chambray shirt to wear over your striped tee and pair it with some bright spring pants (love the perfect color of these green ones!)

Look #2: Half tucked with a tube skirt and blazer

Tube skirts are very in right now (if you dare), but they’re so form fitting it’s nice to add a slouchy tee and blazer so you don’t feel like you’re heading to a night club in the 1980s. It makes the outfit a bit more sophisticated. oldnavyblazer8

Look #3: Knotted over a dress

I love knotting slouchy tees over a dress. It’s a fun way to casual down your spring dresses when you’re just having a picnic at the park. I also knot my tees over high waisted jeans and tube skirts. So summery!

Look #4: Toning down patterned jeans

Patterned jeans, and acid wash jeans like I’m wearing here, are in fashion right now but they can be a little overwhelming to style. I love pairing mine with a simple tee like this gray v-neck. Perfect spring outfit!

These looks are fantastic, great job! I’ve been loving old navy tees as well, the vintage ones are the best

Gosh you are good at this. Just stumbled upon your blog and enjoyed these looks you put together. Plus, I actually could afford to duplicate! Thanks.

I know this is a sponsored post, but thank you for posting on this. I have the striped tee in the first look, as well as the cropped jeans. It’s really nice to find affordable fashion that I actually have hope of putting together for myself.

Love these looks! You look stunning in the tube skirt one. Great styling, Liz!
