Fall Trend: A Sheer Silk Blouse

A couple weeks ago I shared a babble slideshow about 15 trends for women this fall. I’ll be going into detail once a week for the next few weeks about each of the trends: what we {really} think of the trend, tips for making the trend work {for a real woman}, and where to buy it for a deal.

This trend isn’t brand new but it’s picking up speed lately. This sheer silky blouse could not be more versatile. Layer underneath with a cami (or just a bra if you’re daring!). Then dress it up, tucked in with a fitted wool trouser or pencil skirt. Dress it down with jeans and ballet flats. The trend seems to be rolled up sleeves, unbutton kinda low (if you’re comfortable with that). Loose and mostly unstructured. Bright colors welcome. The perfect piece to search for at your local thrift store for a steal, like my green one I found below.
