DIY: Fourth of July Baby Sun Hat

We’ll be spending the fourth on a long plane ride from North Carolina to San Francisco, but if you’re doing anything more interesting than that, you might want to attempt this cute baby sun hat project seen on Purl Bee. Please send your fireworks high on Saturday night so we can enjoy them from the plane!

thanks michelle! i think our flight doesn't get in until midnight though

If you have the energy to go out Saturday night, head down to Fisherman's Wharf for the gigantic firework celebration at Aquatic Park (right in front of Ghirardelli Square). We always get In-N-Out and then wait for the fireworks to start.Welcome to SF!

jenn. quite making me cry. that is so sad. tell ady we love her and miss her!

Oh my! That is THE cutest little hat I've ever seen! I think I might just have to attempt to make one…same colors and all!

I'm glad you made it safe to NC. I read on your twitter that you had an awful flight. We are packing today to do the same awful flight. Any suggestions? We miss you! Ady cried herself to sleep the night you left. Hope all is well. Have fun in NC and let us know how San Fran is!

I've flown on the 4th of july before, it really is cool to see the fireworks from way up high! That hat looks like a fun project… Maybe I'll have to try it.
